The Black Diamond Gallery is located on the northern end of the Port Adelaide Visitor Information Centre (VIC), at ground level. The workshops are at the rear of the Visitor Information Centre.

The Port Community Arts Centre is a community based arts centre, located in the heart of historic Port Adelaide. It was established over twenty years ago and is comprised of a beautiful gallery and workshop spaces.

We would like to announce an opening of solo art exhibition "Visual Diary inspired by nature" by our PCAC member Tamara Filatov.

This exhibition is showcasing her journey back into the world of art after being a digital artist for almost 20 years.

Many of the images in this exhibition were inspired by photographs on Instagram.

Tamara wrote: "Subverting the fast-paced digital mediascape of Instagram, I wanted to recover the contemplative power of these images that otherwise get lost in the algorithm. This interplay between digital and analog media reflects my own biography as an artist. I chose watercolour to rediscover the visual language of emotions, this medium helped me portray inspired states of nature."

Visit and dive deep into meditative sunsets, delicate sunrises, fragrance of flowering roses, and places on earth you may not have been yet.

The exhibition features 61 works of art. All works are for sale.

The exhibition will run from April 1st to April 29th at the Visitor Information Centre Art Gallery, 66 Commercial Rd, Port Adelaide. The gallery will be open 7 days a week from 10:00 to 17:00.
